Yesterday was the 10th January and so that was the first day of our filming. George rang Jess at 12 o clock in the day asking to meet a bit later, at 6 o clock instead of 4, and so this shifted our plans 2 hours back. However this was fine, and everybody involved was still free and it didn't affect our filming process as we were indoors, and so the lighting didn't change. Jess arrived at my house at 5 o clock (an hour before our performer arrived) to set up the location, we set up all of the equipment, involving the LED lights with tripods, as well as the Video Camera.) We experimented around the room, moving different furniture around such as sofas and lighting, in order to create a professional environment for the shots. We agreed that the lighting was better at the far end of the room, and so this was the main area of filming. We used props within the shots, such as microphones, speakers, a black case and wires around him to try and make it look like a casual environment, however professional at the same time. We also had his guitar in most of the shots, to go with the performance aspect of the shoot.
Previous to the shoot, we asked George to wear the clothes that we had previously agreed, (a dark coloured sweater, jeans, trainers, and a yellow scarf).
We set up an iPod on the speakers that are already in the room, and put his song on, we then asked him to sing whilst playing the guitar, alongside the recorded track, we thought this would increase the professional look to the lip sync. We took 18 videos, including close ups, extreme close ups, medium close ups, and long shots. There were also some different angle shots, such as high angle and low angle shots, therefore we feel we have created a variation of shots. (these can be shown in the shot list too).
Yesterday, we only recorded parts in the Games Room location, however we have decided to arrange another filming next week, where we can extend our filming.
Below is an updated version of my time management, and what has happened as of yet:
